For virtual assistants
Nobody ever got promoted for typing fast.
You already know the twelve questions every guest asks. So does a computer. Learn to run the computer that answers them — and spend your day on the part of this job only a person can do.
The system you'll learn is running live tonight, on real homes. Not a roadmap.
You're not slow. You're outnumbered.
Every VA in rentals hits the same three walls, no matter how good their SOPs are:
- A guest messages at 11pm. You see it at 7am. Nobody did anything wrong — you were asleep.
- The same twelve questions. Check-in time, wifi, parking, are dogs okay. Every day, in five different apps.
- The good part of the job — calming down an angry guest, saving a booking, selling another month — gets whatever time is left over. Usually not much.
More training won't fix that. More hours won't either. One person cannot be in five inboxes at three in the morning. It's a numbers problem, not an effort problem — and you have never been the thing that was broken.
What you'll actually learn.
Not a course about AI. The real thing, on real homes with real people living in them:
- Let the computer type. You decide.
- The AI writes the reply in your operator's voice. You read it, fix anything that's off, and send. Your judgement becomes the job — not how fast you type.
- One guest, one conversation
- Someone asks a question on Airbnb, then texts you two days later. Today those look like two strangers. You'll see one person and the whole story behind them.
- The messages nobody wrote a rule for
- The lock won't open. The AC died on a Sunday. Someone wants their money back. No SOP covers these — and they're exactly what makes a VA impossible to replace.
- Nothing goes out without you
- Every message waits for a person to approve it. You stay in control of what gets sent with your operator's name on it.
You stop being the person who answers the messages and become the person who decides what the answer should be. That job is harder to replace, and it pays better.
Same hours. Better job.
- Look after more homes, same day
- When the boring 80% stops eating your morning, you can cover more without working later. That number is what gets you hired — and what gets you paid more.
- Sleep through the night
- The AI answers at 2am so you don't have to. Your operator still gets someone awake around the clock. You still get eight hours. Everyone was pretending this was fine. It wasn't.
- A skill you take with you
- In two years, “can work with AI” will be on every VA job post. Better to have learned it on real homes than to be learning it in the interview.
How it works
Step 1
Tell us about your work
One minute. How many homes you look after, which sites and systems you already use, and which part of your day you'd happily never do again.
Step 2
Learn on real homes
We walk you through the whole thing: writing replies, approving them, following one guest across every app, pricing, and the messy stuff.
Step 3
Get on the list
Finish and you're a certified mtrhost.ai VA. When operators ask us who they should hire, that's the list we send them.
mtrhost.ai helps people who look after short-term and mid-term rentals answer guests, manage listings, and set prices across every app — with a person approving every message. Run a VA company? See the partner program →
